Vintage Aarhus Maskinfabrik 60Kg Coffee Roaster for sale
This is a 60Kg per batch drum roaster, very similar in design to a Probat roaster.
It has been partially refurbished, having been completely stripped down, shot blasted and painted with a base coat.
It is ready immediately for sale with a view to being refurbished completely to customer requirements.
All original component parts available with the roaster.
A new motor has been supplied, but the original is also included that can run on either single phase or 3-phase.
We can organise to complete the refurbishment in the UK if required.

Vintage Aarhus Maskinfabrik 60Kg Coffee Roaster for sale
Probat GP12
Year 1982
This has been succesfully roasting with the current owners since 2008.
In the last year it has had the front face plate repainted with 450 degree heat resistant paint and a new motor and two new sealed bearings to the front and back of the drum.
It is fitted with a double walled drum with cast iron front and rear face plates.
It has been regualrly cleaned and serviced weekly, monthly and every 6 months as required since the current owner purchased this roaster in 2008.
This a good all round robust roaster with good solid construction and is a real workhorse coffee roaster.
It is in running condition and still in production for a few more weeks as at 30th October 2023.
It would benefit from being refurbished with some upgrades i.e: new temperature probes for connecting either Artisan or Cropster roast profiling software via Laptop/iPad or PC.

Hamerel 15Kg
Vintage Hamerel - Cocoa Nib Roaster for sale
Year 1965
Capacity 15Kg per batch
This has been restored in recent years and has been put in to production for roasting small batches of cocoa beans/nibs.
It has had light use since it was restored and connected.
The works that were carried out on it are as follows:
- Complete strip down, removal of paint and left unpainted deliberately to allow future owners to paint it in their preferred colour - Black heat resistant paint is available if required.
- Bespoke electrical control cabinet built and includes:
- Fuji PID's for Beans, Environment and Exhaust, if required
- Thermocouple installed for Bean Temperature
- RS485 connected for profiling with bean temperature and Environment Temperature could easily be added if required.
- Premium Frequency Drives for all motors.
- E-Stop
- Enable and Disable to prevent accidental injury on start-up.
- Over-temperature burner latching reset relay
- Natural Gas solenoid added
The roaster comes complete with Cyclone for chaff collection and includes a green bean lift fan for loading green beans into the charge hopper.
This is a rare French built coffee roaster, suitable for roasting Coffee and Cocoa nibs.
