This was running very sccessfully at a UK Coffee Roastery producing Home Compostable Nespresso Compatible Capsules from Jan 2020 to December 2023.

This machine produces the Nespresso original capsule format only, not for Vertuo

The blank pods are automatically inserted into the two-lane conveyor, filled with ground coffee (auto vacuum lifted), the lids are cut and placed onto the pods, and they are twice heat sealed before being automatically removed to the conveyor.

It comprises a double filling head and double sealing head.

It is also equipped with a Nitrogen generator for Modified Atmosphere Packaging, providing longer shelf life for the capsules.

Over £10k in Surplus stock of empty compostable pods & reels of lids are included in the sale (see detail below).

Due to their growth of capsule sales, this machine has become redundant as can no longer keep up with demand.

Also included are pods we purchased from a different supplier that are home-compostable. The initial trials we did of these had some flow problems but we didn’t put any time into development changing the fill volume or changing the coffee grind settings etc. You’ll have to do your development work to see if they are ok to use.
