The TFS Carton Sealing machine is designed and specifically built for smaller production runs.
The machine requires the operator to erect the preformed carton and place the product manually into the opened carton. The carton flaps must then be folded closed.
Once the product is loaded, the carton with the top flap open is placed onto the continuous moving conveyor, which takes the opened top flap through the hot melt glue unit that applies a 6mm bead of glue along the top flap and then automatically closes the flap against the bottom flaps, thereby sealing the carton closed.
Carton Sizes set-up on this machine for packing Pizza cartons of size:
A 250mm x B 250mm x C 35mm
It has an output speed of up to 50 Cartons per minute depending on board quality.
Electrical Requirements: Single Phase
The main drive motor is single phase 0.37kW AC Motor complete with Helical Geared reduction gearbox.
It has a Frequency Inverter Control to adjust the packing speeds from 10 CPM up to the maximum.
The Glue boxes have individual direct drive motors rated at 1.6kW Single Phase; Safety control circuit is 24v AC

All opening guards are eletronically interlocked.
