Green coffee
IMF design green coffee plants and installation complete of:
- green reception system in juta bags, big bags and bulk
- cleaning and mechanical selection (vibrating screen) or optical selection (optical sorter)
- pneumatic transport system, diluted phase, in pressure and pression
- tailor-made ensilage storage and dosing system.
Green coffee silos can be created in different shapes and sizes (polygonal or circular), dimension and layout (vertical or linear development) and can be entirely customized; in particular, polygonal silos can be designed with 4-6-8-10-12-16 sections with vertical development suitable for big quantities.
Roasted coffee
IMF design roasted coffee plants and installation complete of:
- cleaning and mechanical selection (vibrating screen) or optical selection (optical sorter)
- pneumatic transport system, diluted phase, in pressure and pression
- ensilage storage
- mixing.

Ground coffee
IMF have developed specific storage systems for ground coffee with natural degassing, forced or in modified atmosphere, particularly suitable for the production of capsules, single-dose packaging and vacuum packaging lines.
We design ground coffee plants and solution for ground coffee storage suitable for the production of capsules and pods, with degassing system and protective atmosphere.
Roasting management software
IMF management software allows full control over roasting profile, process management and plant automation, product traceability and production lot, from green coffee reception to finished product packaging. The roasting profile can be created by setting up 12 different set points to regulate air temperature entering the drum in function of coffee temperature.
For each set point it is even possible to modulate roasting air speed and drum rotational speed, resulting in more control of the heat transfer process to the coffee bean.
The aim is to guarantee always repeatability of the chosen roasting profile from the first to last batch of the day, ensuring constant quality.
